Export from Ukraine picking up again, Transito Danuvius is involved

Although the war in Ukraine had significant consequences for various markets, including commodities and natural products, it seems to be recovering. Recently, the motor ship Valinta (see below) loaded rapeseed from a train in Komarno, a city in Slovakia along the rivers Danube and Váh. The train originated from Ukraine.

Rapeseed is considered an oilseed and, according to CBS, it was ranked third in terms of products with the highest import values from Ukraine in 2021. Corn was in second place. Transito can assist in the return of these dry cargo products due to its diversity. Within our company, we also have the entity named ‘Transito Danuvius’, specializing, in the transport share to and from the Danube countries (among other things).
