We are proud to introduce a new addition to our team: as of 1 July, we are welcoming Bas Weinberg to Transito.

Bas brings with him over ten years’ experience in the trade of agricultural commodities. Previously, he held roles including Trade Desk Manager at COFCO, one of the largest players in the international commodities trade. This means Transito is not only gaining a wealth of knowledge and expertise, but also a valuable perspective from the world of shippers and cargo owners.

Bas knows our market from the other side of the table and understands better than anyone what relationships need to operate successfully. It is precisely this experience that fits seamlessly with our ambition to continuously strengthen our services.

We see Bas’s decision to join Transito as a great compliment. In his own words, he has always regarded Transito as a company that excels in service, speed and quality. He now brings that conviction with him.
